About My Mural Work
I trained in fine art and illustration before moving into community arts, spending years working in schools, youth centres and public spaces across South Wales. That early work taught me how to collaborate, scale ideas and design murals that genuinely improve a space — skills that still guide my practice today.
Over the last 30 years I’ve created murals for homes, schools, councils, architects and commercial clients. My work ranges from wildlife and botanical pieces to portraits, fantasy elements and playful perspective work, using spray paint, brushwork and illustration depending on what the project needs.
I use durable exterior‑grade materials and handle all the practicalities, including prep and safety paperwork for public‑realm projects. I’ve worked on everything from small domestic pieces to £30k commissions, always adapting the approach to suit the space and the people who use it.
At the heart of my work is a practical, site‑led approach: understand the environment first, then create artwork that adds character, colour and a clear sense of place — whether it’s a feature wall at home or a large public site.
Commissioning a Mural
Every project starts with a conversation. You tell me what you’re thinking — the feel you want, the ideas you already have, the space you want to transform — and I’ll listen carefully and help shape those thoughts into something stronger. My job is to take your ideas and develop them into a design that works beautifully in the space and often goes beyond what you imagined at the start.
