Here's a quick reveal of the finished project in L Here's a quick reveal of the finished project in Liswerry.
In partnership with Tanio, Hale construction and Hedyn. With support from the local councillors too.
Designed with help from the community and through workshops in Lliswerry comp.
Input from lots of locals and people passing by changed the composition as it developed.

This has been a labour of love and something I've been proud to make for (and with) the community.
So many great, difficult, funny and touching chats with so many people over 8 days of painting.
I'll be sorry to leave!

Painting in Lliswerry is a blast, loads of lovely people, even if half a dozen people have commented… ‘I suppose its better than it was…’
When the wall was previously just a moss covered eyesore with 20 year old graffiti scrawl on it. 😂

Thanks to @upfest for having us and the lovely peo Thanks to @upfest for having us and the lovely people @bristolbeerfactorytaproom for hosting our Lightpainting and looking after us all day.

The room was a furnace 🥵, and we had a blast with every family and group that turned up to play. Even the Arsenal fans 😀

Great enthusiasm and curiosity led to some fantastic playful creations

I've finished stage one of the Beech Tree mural. T I've finished stage one of the Beech Tree mural. This one was funded by CCBC. The hotel itself are going to fund the next phase.
There's lots of brilliant work in the area by the @valleysstreetartproject ... This mural isn't related to the project, but I hope to be doing one soon.

I'll be coming back to start the front, in the very near future.
It has been challenging in this heat, but I've loved every minute in Ystrad.
So many nice people with kind words.
I've done my best to give you a spectacular and uplifting artwork. It's all in the details, the colour gradients and the tiny reflections.
I hope that you like it 🙏
